Amazon Turtle Lodge

RIO SOLIMÕES PACKAGE 3 DAYS AND 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1  
07:00 – 08:00 – Transfer by car to Porto da Ceasa, with a brief visit to the Ceasa fish and fruit market.
•    We will board a regional boat.
•    We will follow the river route to the Meeting of the Waters.
•    Brief stop to take photos of the Meeting of the Negro and Solimões rivers.
•    Possibilities of spotting pink dolphins in this region.
Continuing the excursion, we continue our journey to Vitória-Régias, from where we will depart by land (van or minibus) via BR 319. On the way, it is possible to admire the Vitória-Régias, a brief stop for photographs, and we follow the road towards to our destination. From branch 14 on AM-020, the journey will continue via the river in a motorized boat. This part of the trip is a true adventure, we will continue following a beautiful path through the Igarapés (small river branches) and the Igapós (flooded forest area).
•    Expected arrival at Turtle Lodge at 12pm.
•    Carrying out Check IN.
•    Recognition of the facilities in the lodge area.
•    Lunch will be served afterwards.
In the afternoon we will take our first tour of the Tracajá Lake region:
•    Motorized canoe trip to contemplate the Amazon rainforest.
•    Opportunity to observe the Amazon Fauna and Flora.
•    Contemplation of a variety of birds.
7:00 pm – Dinner will be served with the best of Amazonian cuisine.

DAY 2 
05:30 – Departure in a motorized canoe to contemplate the sunrise and observe the morning flight of birds. Return for a delicious regional breakfast, and soon after we will continue with the following activities:
•    Walk in the jungle with an expert guide.
•    During this tour the guide will present some survival techniques in the jungle using forest resources, as well as edible plants from the Amazon.
•    Opportunity to learn about and identify some species of medicinal plants.
•    Return to the lodge for lunch.
15:00 – Departure in motorized canoes to fish for piranhas, and with good luck other types of fish. Return to the Lodge at dusk. After dinner, river tour:
•    Contemplate nocturnal animals.
•    Alligator focus.
•    Return to the Lodge for a Caipirinha drink.
•    Relax and enjoy the lodge's facilities.

DAY 3 
08:00 – After breakfast, we continue with the last activity of the day:
•    Visit to the caboclos' house.
•    Get to know the customs, culture and way of subsistence of the riverside people of the Amazon.
•    Possibility to visit the community school.
•    Lunch at the Amazon Turtle Lodge.
