RIO SOLIMÕES PACKAGE 3 DAYS AND 2 NIGHTS

Canoeing through igapós and streams – It is generally the first activity at the hotel. The tour takes place in regional rowing canoes. Wooden canoes are the main means of transportation for riverside dwellers in the region. It will be an excellent opportunity for you to learn how to handle an oar, like a true riverside dweller. Good chances of seeing animals such as monkeys and sloths, as well as bird species such as Martin Pescador, Socó, Japiim and Herons. Don't forget your binoculars! (Note: Igapós only in the flood months between May and July)

Night focus – This is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated activities of the program. At nightfall we will leave by canoe, guided by the spotlight, where the experienced guide will take us into an atmosphere of pure enchantment and magic through the sounds of a large orchestra made up of the croaks of frogs, owls, alligators and various other animals of habit. nocturnal. Not to mention the starry sky where you can see the constellations, planets and sometimes even shooting stars (depending on the weather conditions, of course). Prepare your heart for an extra dose of emotion.

Interpretive trail in igapó forest – The diversity of the Amazon flora can be seen through this tour on one of our trails in the flooded forest, or igapó forest, which is subject to flooding during rainy periods and river floods. This forest has distinct characteristics from dry land forests. Our native and experienced guides are attentive to the slightest movement so that you don't miss any detail. On this tour you can find birds, monkeys and sloths, and who knows, you might have the chance to see other rarer animals. Keep an eye out for unexpected moments.

Sunrise on Rio Negro – Get ready to wake up at 5:30 in the morning. Yes, it's hard, but being in the Amazon, any sacrifice is worth it to admire all this beauty up close. We will leave by motorized canoe, still in the mist of the night and being awakened by the first rays of the morning. The sunrise in the Amazon is among the most spectacular in the world. The tour is optional, but be sure to go, as it is unmissable!

Recreational fishing for piranhas and other fish –Let's meet the queens of the Amazon lakes, the piranhas. On this tour, prepare your heart to vibrate when you feel the firm hook of the fish on the hook, moments of great joy and relaxation certainly await you. Sometimes it is necessary to change locations, until you find a lake with a greater number of fish, but don't worry, as this will guarantee good doses of fun. When pulling the hook, always hand it to your guide to retrieve the fish.

Contemplation of the pink dolphin in the lakes – The pink river dolphin, or red river dolphin, is present in the Rio Negro and Solimões river basins. They are considered the most intelligent animals in the Amazon rivers, however, their survival is continually threatened by their predatory hunting. As a way of contributing to responsible tourism, this tour consists solely of seeing them in their natural habitat, where there is no direct interaction with them. In addition to being intelligent, the dolphin is very curious and you will have a great chance of seeing it spinning and jumping in the rivers.

Contemplation of the sunset –Another great opportunity to experience the grandeur of the Amazon Rainforest and more chances to see animals. Watching the sunset over Rio Negro is a true exercise in contemplation, an unforgettable experience, where you will literally disconnect from the world. Prepare the camera for the last rays of sunlight, the colors in tones ranging from pink to orange will impress you.

Visit to the flour mill and medicinal plant garden – You will see the flour house, or better known around here as the “flour shed”. Due to the acidity of the waters of the Rio Negro and its consequent mineral poverty, soil cultivation is scarcer. Cassava then constitutes an important product, from which the caboclos extract, in addition to flour, a good part of other by-products for their provision such as tapioca, bejú, tucupi and gum, omnipresent in Amazonian homes. You will also visit the caboclo garden, made up of various medicinal herbs, a real pharmacy in your backyard.
